The Observer's Stand, OVR's Region Magazine

Welcome to The Observer's Stand online, OVR/SCCA's monthly magazine, which won First Place again in the Large Region category at the SCCA National Convention in Topeka, Kansas, in February! We are very proud of this publication, because all of the work is done by our OVR member volunteers – the articles, the photography, the editing and layout – everything is done by OVR members flexing their creative muscles!

If you have ever wanted to try your hand at writing or photography, or if you're interested in the production end of things – we have all sorts of volunteer positions available to utilize the creativity you don't get to use in your "real job." On top of the rewards you'll have seeing your work in print and being a part of an award-winning magazine staff, you'll be challenged and make lots of great new friends!

Each issue of The Observer's Stand is loaded with lots of photographs, our event calendar, stories, and results, and even lots of classified ads. If you're looking for a race car, you'll want to be sure to check out the ads at the end of each magazine.

As an SCCA member, you will also receive a copy of the national SCCA magazine, SportsCar, a full-color, glossy magazine chock full of exciting racing action!
